Wildtrips specializes in catered and guided week long backcountry ski trips at some of British Columbia's best backcountry lodges.  We run tours at Battle Abbey, Sorcerer Lodge, Selkirk Lodge, Fairy Meadows, Campbell Icefields and more.

We bring together years of backcountry guiding experience, the best backcountry chefs, British Columbia's finest ski terrain and you.  Join us this winter for a fantastic backcountry ski weeks and ski tour Canada.

2027 Backcountry Ski Trips

Ladies-Only Backcountry Ski Days 

These ski days are open to women only.  The purpose of the day is to get out ski touring in a supportive environment and connect with other women.  These trips are open to new and seasoned ski tourers.  You must be comfortable skiing level on blue runs at the ski hill and at least 6 days of downhill skiing this season is recommended prior to joining.

Equipment you will need:
Touring skis with prefitted skins and poles Or Split Board with skins and poles
Safety gear- Probe, Shovel and Transceiver (limited quantities available to rent from Wildtrips)
Ski gear Layered clothing- base layer, midweight jacket, down jacket, Gore-Tex jacket
Helmet (optional)
Gloves- a light pair for uphill and a warm pair for downhill (2 pairs recommended)
Tuque and ball cap for sunny days
Neck Warmer
Sunglasses
Suncream
Thermos/ water bottle 1L/ Nourishing Food with lots of snacks
Personal Blister kit
Headlamp (especially for November through February)

Single/ Multi day Private Ski Guiding

Outside of our trip schedule, Wildtrips can also offer private single or multi day ski guiding in the Canadian Rockies and Columbias customized for your needs, experience level and wishes.
