The Zanskar Ski School located in Padum, Zanskar Valley, Ladakh, India at the foot of the Himalayas.  The valley is only accessible by road in the summer months and gets plenty of snow in the winter.  The ski school offers ski lessons and equipment mainly to the children of the valley for sport, enjoyment and also as a means of travel.  If you are traveling to Zanskar, bring some skis to donate to the school, or, if you go in winter and are a ski instructor, volunteer to teach fro a while.
